It’s as if you are waking up after falling sleeping with the T.V on during the turn of the century

It’s SCHLOCK WAVE.

A night of experimental media experimental shorts and archival media that channel the aesthetics of public access / shopping network / reality television, either in parody, in prank, or other deconstructions.

In each piece, the subjects are coping – with media and the ideological state apparatus – through humor and camp. What the silly mainstream might consider trashy or SCHLOCK is the (erotic) power of making our own image. These emit a “frequency of queerness.”
