A community forum exploring the experiences of artists, audiences and art workers of color in/around the art world. Expanding on collective response to the whiteness of recent surveys of contemporary art (The Whitney Biennial, Made in LA) and the positions of artists of color within those exhibitions. A collective refusal of museum non-engagement with communities of color and art historical oblivion. A conversation welcoming those who practice on the outside of the museum, from the inside of a community, those who work towards transformation from within institutions, for those who migrate across and through spaces of inclusion and exclusion, for allies and revolutionaries.
